I was surprised and pleased when I received a photo shoot request from Maddie's mom. Maddie is a senior student from Texas. Both an early senior shoot and an out of state client are a first for me. While discussing the photo details, the client asked if we could shoot in the exclusive area of Emerald Bay. Since Maddie has access to this exclusive neighborhood, we agreed on this location. I have driven by this neighborhood of Laguna Beach my entire life, but have never been behind the gates. Let me tell you, this community is a dreamland, I love everything. The beautiful landscapes filled with hydrangeas, succulents, lush green grass, amazing over grown walkways and palm trees. The huge private beach framed with textured rocks that fall into the beautiful blue sea. Maddie was a dream client that brought me to a photographer’s dreamland. I will most definitely be adding senior student shoots to my portfolio and excited to have the opportunity to shoot in this amazing neighborhood again.
